Sweet Tomatoes was a beloved healthy restaurant chain (known as Souplantation in California). Its self-serve buffet featured a variety of fresh salads and vegetables, rotating hot soups, and delicious seasonal baked goods. The restaurant was founded in San Diego in 1978 and grew to more than 100 locations across the US. Sadly, in early 2020 the chain announced it would close all restaurants due to pandemic challenges. This fan-produced website exists to save and catalog official and copycat recipes so you can still enjoy these delicious dishes at home.
